To apply for food stamps also called SNAP (Supplemental nutrition assistance program) aka EBT (Electronic Benefit Card) or Kokua Card and or Financial which is TANF (only available for 6 years in lifetime) or GA (General Assistance if seeing a psychiatrist is unlimited, must continue seeing throughout). Make sure you ask the caseworker at the Processing center if you can get a free monthly bus pass.

Processing Centers are where the Department of Human Services helps people in need apply for benefits like

SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is food stamps), or Med-Quest Applications are there, Including help with Financial TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families is only available for 6 years in a person's entire lifetime in special circumstances in a Domestic Violence case like if you went to a DV or Domestic Violence Shelter you can ask the Social Worker at the Processing Center about this.) or GA (General Assistance) is also financial. Department of Human Services (DHS) Processing centers you may ask to send the application via mail, e-mail if there is probably an online application or walk in to pick one up. to find your local Online application of financial and food benefits google search keywords "state name, city name, DHS, .gov, benefits, online application."

They might also be able to send it to you through e-mail type in google search keywords: " e-mail of DHS, city name, state name, processing center." or to find all processing centers is places that serve financial and food stamp benefits google search keyword "DHS Processing centers for city name", at your local DHS processing center, there should also be useful information or resources on the tack board there, outside in the waiting area.
